Another Grilled Cheese Fest Heads For The Other Side of the Bay
Not long after a similar smorgasbord brought hungry sandwich-seeking patrons to Ybor City, the region's latest grilled cheese extravaganza is making its way to St. Petersburg. We're not upset about it. From 11:00AM to 6:00PM Sunday, the aptly named St. Pete Grilled Cheese Festival, unrelated to April's Tampa Grilled Cheese Festival, will open to the EDGE District.
2016 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge
On April 9-10, 2016, the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Club (TBSC) will once again hold the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge. This tournament is held on the West Coast of Florida and the weigh-in & awards celebration will be at Ferg's Sportsbar, in St. Petersburg, Florida. The TBSC Challenge is one of the top three most attended spearing tournaments in the world! This is open to the public and over 1000 attend the event.
